Pilot projects
Member cities have the opportunity to join the network with a pilot project, where the resources and expertise within the network will be used to develop and qualify the pilot project ideas. The aim of the pilot project initiative is to develop practical solutions and methods for developing the Nordic knowledge cities.
The actual implementation of the knowledge city pilot projects will be financed by other sources than the membership fee, e.g. the city’s own and possibly Nordic Council, EU and other funding sources.
Do you have an idea for a pilot project?
The secretariat is available for consultations on developing pilot project ideas through discussions, meetings, workshop, giving lectures, gathering certain information etc. Further assistance from the secretariat in developing of urban development initiatives in member cities is available after more specified agreements.
